Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 19, 2026 · Draft policy, pre-launch.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, password hash (via AWS Cognito), role (homeowner or provider).
  • Property details you enter: address, mow-area outline you draw on a satellite map, fence status, gate width, notes to provider.
  • Job records: scheduled date, recurrence, price, status, rating and review when you submit one.
  • Technical logs: request metadata (IP, user agent, timestamps) to operate and secure the platform.

What we don't collect

We do not collect or store credit card numbers directly - payments are tokenized by our payment processor. We do not track you across other sites. We do not sell your personal information.

How we use it

  • To match homeowners with nearby providers and route jobs into efficient loops.
  • To charge you for completed service and pay providers their share.
  • To email you booking confirmations, receipts, and occasional service updates.
  • To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms.

Who we share with

  • The provider matched to your job sees your address, outline, notes, and first name.
  • Our infrastructure providers (AWS, Mapbox for geocoding and maps, and our payment processor) process data on our behalf under their own contracts.
  • Law enforcement when legally required.

Retention

We keep your account and job history while your account is active. On account deletion we anonymize personal fields and keep the record of completed jobs for tax and dispute purposes for up to 7 years.

Your choices

You can see and edit your saved homes from the booking page and remove them (soft-delete) when there's no active mow. To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, email privacy@mowloop.com. California residents: the same address is our CCPA contact.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember a small number of UI preferences. No third-party analytics or advertising cookies are set today.

Changes

Material changes to this Policy will be emailed to account holders at least 14 days before taking effect.
